Posture & Balance Concepts is a privately owned company that started as an outpatient vestibular clinic in 2002. Recognizing the increasing need for all therapists and other healthcare professionals to understand and treat balance and dizziness issues, we expanded into Healthcare Consulting and Continuing Education.
Charles M Plishka, PT, DPT, NCS graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a ‘Doctor of Physical Therapy’ degree and is currently a licensed Physical Therapist in Louisiana. He has over 20 years of extensive experience evaluating and treating of vestibular and balance disorders. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is a Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NSC). For the Academy of Neurology (APTA) he has served for 3 years as the Secretary of the Vestibular Therapy Special Interest Group and is a founding member and current Chair of the Vestibular Special Interest Group of the International Neurologic Physical Therapy Association (World Physiotherapy). He is the author of the text “A Clinician’s Guide to Balance and Dizziness: Evaluation & Treatment” and speaks internationally.
